Heart Urchin Beret crochet pattern
Originally designed for Inside Crochet Magazine Issue 145, this intermediate pattern took inspiration from circular patterns found in the natural world. Finding lots of heart urchin skeletons on the beach one summer, I renamed the pattern after them. They are too delicate for me ever to get them home in one piece, but the beret, I can keep forever. Perfect for the ever-changing whims of Autumn and Spring weather, tuck one into your pocket to keep cosy on the beach, woods or wherever your walks take you.
The pattern is written in UK terms and made using just under 100g of dk yarn.
Pattern difficulty: Intermediate.
